GREENVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) – Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a rollover crash that resulted in a 71-year-old man being hospitalized in Montcalm County.

The man had been driving erratically on M-57 and approaching Greenville, witnesses called to tell police around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

A 911 caller soon thereafter reported a rollover accident involving the same vehicle near Satterlee Road, according to a police news release.

Police and rescue crews arrived and saw the vehicle on its roof near a ditch.

The driver from Sand Lake was extricated and transported to a hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.
