GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – This winter’s extremely cold temperatures have driven up many people’s energy bills.

On “24 Hour News 8 Daybreak,” Consumers Energy spokesperson Roger Morgenstern discussed what this winter’s cold weather is doing to the energy infrastructure.

He also provided information about Consumers Affordable Resource for Energy (CARE) program, which helps people with high energy costs. Consumers Energy has extended the deadline for qualified customers to sign up.
