Snowy roads lead to morning crashes

CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – Snow-covered and slippery roads led to many crashes and slide-offs around West Michigan Thursday morning.

Here are some of the incidents that were reported —

  • Westbound I-96 after Cascade Road in Kent County
  • Westbound I-96 at the East Beltline Avenue in Kent County
  • Southbound U.S. 131 at Business Loop U.S. 131 in Alamo Township in Kalamazoo County
  • Eastbound I-96 near the Marne exit in Ottawa County
  • Eastbound I-94 at Portage Road (Exit 78) in Kalamazoo County
  • Westbound I-94 at Sprinkle Road (Exit 80) in Portage in Kalamazoo County
  • Westbound I-94 at Main Street (Exit 66) in Mattawan
  • Southbound U.S. 31 at M-20 south of Shelby in Oceana County
  • Northbound U.S. 31 exit ramp to Napier Road Exit 24 east of St. Joseph in Berrien County
  • Eastbound I-94 at Browntown Road (mile marker 13) near Bridgman in Berrien County
