EATON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – Two people were injured in a wreck Thursday morning in Eaton County when a semi-truck hit a county public transit bus.

It happened just before 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of E. Clinton Trail and Flanders Road in Eaton Township, east of Charlotte.

An Eatran bus had just stopped at the intersection while headed south on Flanders Road, when it headed into the intersection and into the path of the semi-truck, which was headed east on E. Clinton Trail, according to the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office.
