Warm up and trim up with a slow cooker dinner

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) If you want to warm up with a bowl of delicious comfort food, but are watching your waist line, there is a solution for you!

Liz Della Croce of The Lemon Bowl has a great recipe for a slow cooker dish that’s easy on calories and big on taste!

Liz says Slow Cooked Lebanese Green Beans and Beef is tender beef cooked with green beans, tomatoes, and cinnamon to create a delicious Middle Eastern dish traditionally served over rice pilaf. It’s only 271 calories and 4.8 grams of fat per serving and is an excellent source of vitamin C, iron, vitamin A, and calcium. Check out her website for the recipe.
