Kent County, Mich. (WOOD) Kent County road crews say there are a number of stranded vehicles on rural roads and they need them moved. Other counties around the region are reporting similar problems.
Kent County Road Commission spokesperson Jerry Byrne told 24 Hour News 8 that a number of his drivers say that they’ve come across stranded vehicles. Byrne says drivers need to work to get a tow crew out there or get them shoveled out. If they don’t get the vehicles moved, certain roads may not get plowed today.
Road crews are putting a big focus on the primary roads first today. They will be tackling the country roads that are blown shut with big v-plows and side plows.
