Give back to the community with a warm bowl of soup

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) The annual Soup’s On for All is happening tonight at the B.O.B. in downtown Grand Rapids. The fun event raises money for God’s Kitchen. The organization help provide a warm meal every day of the year for those in need in Grand Rapids and across West Michigan. Soup’s On for All is its main fundraiser for the year. Your ticket includes gourmet soups and bread, live entertainment, and a hand-painted bowl that you can take home.

If you miss the Grand Rapids event, another Soup’s On Along the Lakeshore is planned for Monday, February 27, 2014, in Muskegon.

Terry Walsh, President and CEO of Catholic Charities West Michigan, and Rob Miller, who manages God’s Kitchen, tells us what this event means to them.
