HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — The eastbound lanes of I-196 in Ottawa County were shut down for a time Monday following a series of slide-offs that needed to be cleared.

The slide-offs occurred early Monday afternoon near the Hudsonville exit, where the highway was shut down. Nine vehicles and three semi-trucks were involved.

No injuries were reported.

Plows worked to clear the slick and snowy roads in Ottawa County, but some stuck vehicles made the job difficult.
