KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) – The City of Kalamazoo has announced some on-street parking restrictions to allow the removal of snow.

No parking on the even numbered side of all City streets where non-metered, on-street parking is normally allowed, effective 7 p.m. Jan. 28 until 7 p.m. Jan. 30.

No parking on the odd numbered side of all City streets where non-metered, on-street parking is normally allowed, effective 7 p.m. Jan. 30 through 7 p.m. Feb. 1.

This will allow City crews to remove snow that has accumulated from the recent snowstorm.

Vehicles found parked in violation of these restrictions may be towed at the owners’ expense.

“The public’s cooperation is urged to ensure the safety of City crews and provide for safe streets,” according to a news release.
