WB I-96 reopens in Grand Rapids after wreck

The westbound lanes of I-96 have reopened east of the Plainfield Avenue exit in Grand Rapids following a wreck.

The accident involved a semi-truck that slid off the road. There were several other slide-offs in the area.

Traffic was backed up on the highway for several miles as a result of the wreck.

There was no word on whether anyone was injured.
