Rock out to feed the hungry

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) A couple of popular musicians are pulling out the tools they use best to help build a supply of meals to feed to children in need in West Michigan. It’s part of an effort called “Will Play for Food.”

The goal is to raise 5,000 meals for hungry children in West Michigan. The event is Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at the B.O.B. in downtown Grand Rapids. A ticket costs $20 in advance, and that provides 60 meals to hungry children. Meet and greet and VIP packages are also available. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music begins at 8 p.m.
