Winning the gold: an Olympian in West Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) The Olympics are back in 2014 with the Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. One person who knows what it’s like to be on the world stage is Lisa Brown-Miller. She competed in women’s hockey in the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan, helping Team U.S.A. win a gold medal! It was a historic achievement that hasn’t happened since.

Lisa-Brown Miller lives in West Michigan now. She joins us in studio to talk about that game, and how she’s participated in the Olympic Games and in hockey since then.
