KVET finds ‘large quantity’ of drugs at house

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Four Kalamazoo residents now face charges after a “large quantity” of drugs was found during a bust Tuesday.

In response to several complaints about drug trafficking, the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team and the Kalamazoo Metro SWAT team executed a search warrant on a home in the 900 block of Trimble Avenue around 8 p.m.

They found “a large quantity” of what’s believed to be both crack and powder cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy and prescription drugs.

They also found a stun gun.

There were “numerous” adults and children in the house at the time.

Four people were jailed on various drug charges and warrants.
