A new kind of school for kids

Goddard school

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Now that the holidays are over, kids are getting back into their routines. But not all classrooms are alike. Kellie Olson-Custer from The Goddard School tells us what sets their program apart. She says there are ways to keep your kids engaged when they’re at home. Here are some ideas:

  • Cook together
  • Shop together
  • Play games together
  • Build projects together
  • Use technology together

Goddard School is holding a Teach, Play, Learn Open House on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Local families are invited and the first 20 children to attend get a free packet of Tinker Toys.

You can call The Goddard School at (616) 954-7550 or visit their website.
