Drivers rescued from massive water main break

DETROIT, Mich. (WOOD) – A front-end loader is being used to rescue people from their stranded vehicles on a flooded road in Detroit, WDIV reports.

A water main broke Friday morning on Gratiot Avenue near Conner Street on the city’s east side.

No injuries are being reported.

Drivers said it was difficult to see what was ahead of them.
