Freezing hydrants slow down firefighters

ADA, Mich. (WOOD) — Firefighters had a difficult time putting out flames at a house fire due to freezing hydrants.

Firefighters responded to the fire at 3750 McCabe Ave. SE in Ada around 3 p.m. Saturday.

The Cannon Township Fire Department told 24 Hour News 8 firefighters also had difficulty getting to the hydrants due to large amounts of snow.

The house is a complete loss.
