Neighbors smell house fire, call 911

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) – Nobody was home when a fire damaged a home in Muskegon Monday morning.

Firefighters were dispatched around 3:30 a.m. to 1103 W. Larch Ave. after neighbors smelled smoke in the area.

When firefighters arrived they saw flames coming from the roof.

It is unknown where or how the fire started.
