Grand Rapids plowing schedule announced

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — In an effort to continue to clear roads for emergency vehicles, the city of Grand Rapids has announced specific streets that will be plowed this week.

Residents are asked to move their vehicles off the street before 8 a.m. on the day affecting their neighborhood.

The plowing may push snow into homeowners’ driveways and sidewalks. Residents are responsible to clear that snow, according to the City.

The City is also asking for help to clear fire hydrants and storm drains.

Here is the plowing schedule for Friday:

Feb. 21, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

  • Area bordered by Eastern Avenue SE, Wealthy Street SE, Lake Drive SE, Glenwood Avenue SE, Sherman Street SE, Ethel Avenue SE, Franklin Street SE
