Police investigate Muskegon Hts. shooting

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are investigating a shooting in Muskegon Heights in which one person was shot.

It happened around 8:15 p.m. Friday in the area of W. Sherman Boulevard and Sanford Street, police said.

The male victim survived the shooting, police said. Information on how many times he was hit, or where he was injured, was not released.

Police also did not release any information on a suspect.
