The Kent County Animal Shelter is accepting applications for those who want to adopt Foxy. Wright said Foxy is doing very well post-surgery, but still needs a few more days of recovery. Foxy also needs to be spayed before leaving the shelter.

Contact the facility at 616.632.7300 for more information about Foxy or how to adopt any of its animals.
