Sheriff’s office finds cocaine, pot, prescriptions in bust

BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two men face charges after drugs were found during a bust Sunday morning.

Around 9:45 p.m., the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Waubascon Road in Bedford Township, according to a Sunday release.

There, they found suspected cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs.

Now, a 60-year-old man and a 55-year-old man — both from Battle Creek — could face charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession with intent to deliver analogues.

The suspects’ names are not being released at this time.
