Plane makes emergency landing on Lake Huron

MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich. (WOOD) – The pilot of a Piper plane made an emergency landing on frozen Lake Huron near Mackinac Island Monday, 9&10news.com reports.

The aircraft experienced engine trouble while traveling from St. Ignace to Mackinac Island.

All seven people aboard the plane were unhurt and transported to Mackinac Island.
