Making vegan food approachable

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) If you love food, it’s fun to try a place that does things a little bit differently. For the last couple of years, Bartertown Diner in Grand Rapids has been doing that, and has gained a large following among foodies.

Bartertown aims to make vegan food approachable by offering menu items like chicken salad sandwiches, burgers, and desserts. They also work with local farms to emphasize seasonal cooking.

Bartertown has daily specials and offers brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. They’re located at 6 Jefferson Avenue in Grand Rapids.
