Byron Township house total loss after fire

BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A home in Byron Center is a total loss  following a fire.

Around 4:45 p.m. Saturday, rescue crews were called out to a fire in the 7000 block of Worthing Court SW; the neighborhood is southwest of 76th Street and Burlingame Ave SW.

When crews arrived, the fire had already spread from a garage to the home.

Authorities say everyone in the house made it out and no one was hurt in the fire.

Firefighters cleared the scene just before 8 p.m. Saturday.
