3 people hospitalized after rollover crash

OAKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Three people are recovering after being involved in a rollover crash Sunday morning.

It happened just after 1 a.m. on 14 Mile Road at Lincoln Lake Road in Oakfield Township.

According to a news release, 21-year-old Connor Steven Thomsen from Greenville lost control and rolled the vehicle. Thomsen suffered minor injuries.

Greenville residents Trevor James Vanderburg, 21, and Chase Lee White, 24, were passengers in the vehicle and were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.

Officials on scene told 24 Hour News 8 that one of the passengers was thrown from the car.

Officials believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
