Interview: Michigan auto insurance rates

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – Michigan residents pay some of the highest auto insurance premiums in the country.

Target 8 did the legwork uncovering just how much you would pay if you lived somewhere else — pricing one driver’s vehicle.

One insurance company quoted it at:

  • $463 for six months in Michigan
  • $420 in Ohio
  • $397 in North Carolina
  • $268 in Iowa
  • $239 in Idaho
