All-night party to help kids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) An annual tradition at Hope College is also one of the biggest fundraising events of the year for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Hope Dance Marathon is an up-all-night party with a purpose! It started back in 2000 and raised $23,000 in its first year! Now, more than 600 Hope students contribute to Dance Marathon on the planning committee, or as dancers and moralers.

A mini dance marathon is being held at West Ottawa High School on Friday, February 28, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Hope College Dance Marathon is Friday, March 7, into Saturday, March 8 at the Dow Center Gymnasium at Hope College. You can donate online or donate $10 by texting KIDS to 41010 or donate $5 by texting CURE to 41010. The amount will be applied to your mobile phone bill.
