BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) – The criminal sexual conduct charges against an Albion doctor were dropped Tuesday.

Dr. Horace Davis was in court for a preliminary hearing Tuesday in Calhoun County District Court.

During those proceedings, a teen recanted her prior statement against Davis, the Calhoun County Prosecutor’s Office says. The three criminal sexual conduct charges against him were dismissed.

Davis has denied accusations that he assaulted a then-11-year-old female patient in 2010 since he was charged in November 2013.
