Warehouse roof under repair after collapse

Heavy snow caused the roof of a warehouse to collapse in Wyoming. (Feb. 26, 2014)

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) – Construction crews are working to repair the roof of a warehouse that collapsed under the weight of heavy snow in the city of Wyoming.

The collapse occurred late last week at the warehouse, which is located in an industrial complex at 3800 Eastern Street SE.

Some vehicles were destroyed when the roof collapsed, but no one was hurt.

Added weight from the recent rainfall contributed to the collapse, according to the building’s owner.

The cleanup process is expected to last about two weeks, due to the amount of time it will take to remove the debris.
