Deputies find cocaine, pot in BC home

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A Battle Creek was been arrested after police allegedly found cocaine and marijuana in his home Sunday morning.

Deputies with the Calhoun County Office of the Sheriff Special Response Team responded to the 1st block of East Territorial Road at around 6:15 a.m. with a search warrant, according to a release.

During the search, cocaine and marijuana were seized and a 23-year-old Battle Creek man was arrested.

The suspect is being lodged at the Calhoun County Jail for possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession of marijuana.

The name of the suspect is being withheld pending further investigation.
