GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — One person was detained after law enforcement agents conducted a search at a residence in Grand Rapids Township Wednesday.

Around 7 a.m., the Kent Area Narcotics Enforcement Team used a search warrant to gather evidence at 3019 Dean Lake Avenue NE.

Authorities say they were collecting evidence in regards to a marijuana grow operation inside the house.

One suspect was detained, but authorities believed a person with outstanding arrest warrants could be hiding inside the house. A tactical robot was deployed into the house, but no one was found in the house.
