Maple Sugar Tours, Kalamazoo Nature Center

Saturday, March 8 & Sunday, March 9 – 1 p.m. & 3 p.m.

Discover what makes a good sap run on this hike through the woods to the sugar shack. Then sample some real Michigan maple syrup! Tour start indoors, followed by a 45 minute guided hike. Free for members. Adults: $7, children & students (4-17): $4, children 3 & under: free.


Family Day at the West Michigan Home & Garden Show, DeVos Place

Saturday, March 8, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Enjoy special features and activities for kids, parents, and grandparents. Charity all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for $5 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Free children’s admission until noon on Saturday. Adults $10, kids $4 after noon.

Sunday, March 9, noon – 3 p.m.

Bring your furry friend for contests including pet look-alike, best trick, and a costume contest. There will be a photo booth, Yesterdog hot dogs, giveaways, entertainment, treats, and more! Pets must be up to date on vaccines and must remain on a leash. Free.
