Water main repaired at Aquinas College

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A water main that broke on Aquinas College’s campus Thursday morning has been repaired.

The break happened on the west side of campus near the academic building before 8 a.m. and affected four buildings.

The Wege Center, the Art and Music Center, academic building, and the building that houses campus safety and maintenance were without water until about 2 p.m.

No classes or events were canceled, and the affected buildings remained open during the break.

Campus officials asked people in those buildings to run faucets for at least three minutes to clear the lines.
