GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are investigating the second break-in during the past week at a local furniture store.
Police say burglars broke in and stole a rug and sofa on Monday, March 3 from Gorman’s Home Furnishings near the intersection of 28th Street and Breton Road.
Around 9 a.m. Sunday, thieves broke through the store’s rear entrance windows and stole leather sofa cushions that were left behind during the previous burglary.
The high-end furniture store doesn’t open until noon. No employees were around at the time of the break-in.
