“Baby Shower” for young professionals

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Young people are coming together for an event that aims to help families across West Michigan. C4 is the young professionals group of Catholic Charities West Michigan. The group is holding its third annual C4 Co-Ed Baby & Toddler Shower. The event helps gather items for the Baby & Toddler Pantry at God’s Kitchen, and is also a fun networking event for young people.

God’s Kitchen Baby & Toddler Pantry served more than 1,500 children and families in need in 2013. The program is available to members of the community during walk-in hours on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It’s located in the lower level of God’s Kitchen at 303 S. Division Avenue in Grand Rapids.

The Baby & Toddler Shower is on Sunday, March 23, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Pearl Room at McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon on Ionia in Grand Rapids. There will be entertainment, door prizes, complimentary appetizers and beverages, activities, and a cash bar.

Instead of buying a ticket, attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped baby item. The group is registered at Buy Buy Baby under first name CFour and last name Infant and Toddler Shower.
