Honoring women with the Pillar Awards

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Since 1987, Women’s Resource Center has been honoring West Michigan employers who empower women in their workplaces with an achievement called the Pillar Award.

This year, the Huntington Pillar Awards celebrates its 25th anniversary by awarding Cherry Street Health Services. Tasha Henderson Thomas, the Chief Clinic Operations Officer, explains what the award means for them.

Hundreds of people will attend the 25th annual Huntington Pillar Awards luncheon on Wednesday, March 19, at the Amway Grand Plaza. The event is open to the public. Registration is $60 per person and reserved tables for 10 are $650. All proceeds will be used by Women’s Resource Center. Sponsorship packages are available.
