BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) – Two people were arrested after allegedly stealing a television at gunpoint inside a Battle Creek residence.

Officers were dispatched around 1:47 a.m. Monday to 133 N. 27th St., between Goguac Street and W. Highland Boulevard, on a report of a home invasion and armed robbery.

That is where two males broke into the residence and robbed the male and female residents, according to a news release.

The suspects then left the area in a vehicle.

Battle Creek Officer Kevin Farnham located the vehicle within minutes and arrested the suspects.

The stolen TV and evidence of the crime were in the vehicle.
