GRCC job fair March 11

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – Grand Rapids Community College had its annual spring job fair Tuesday – its largest employment fair to date.

The event was from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first floor of the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center at 151 Fountain St. NE.

It was open to GRCC students, alumni and community members.

Fifty-nine companies are looking to hire about 600 workers.

Applicants were asked to come dressed professionally, bring an updated resume and be prepared to talk with potential employers about their qualifications, according to a news release.
