BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people have been arrested in a Battle Creek shooting that apparently started as a road rage incident.

It happened after two vehicles were involved in an “incident” near the intersection of Beckley Road and M-66, according to the Battle Creek Police Department.

The driver of the first vehicle was then forced to stop in the area of Fremont Street and KCC Drive by the second vehicle, BCPD says. The driver of the second vehicle then approached the first car.

At that point, the passenger of the first car got out of the vehicle and fired a shot, which hit the female passenger in the second car.

The woman who was shot sustained minor injuries and was taken to Bronson Battle Creek for treatment.

Two of the four people involved were arrested.
