MDOT roundabout proposal meeting March 17

WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) — The Michigan Department of Transportation is looking for residents’ input about putting a roundabout on a busy West Michigan road.

The planned roundabout would go in at the intersection of Wilson Avenue (M-11) and Remembrance Road in Walker to reduce crashes and congestion. It would be built in 2015.

MDOT is hosting a meeting March 17 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Walker City Hall on Remembrance Road to hear from residents.
