Man allegedly stabbed teenager

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) – A man is facing numerous felony charges after he allegedly stabbed a teenager.

Police were dispatched around 1:39 p.m. March 13 to 1021 Washington Ave. on a report of stabbing. They arrived at the scene and saw the apparent suspect fleeing the scene.

Officers rendered aid to the victim, an 18-year-old Muskegon male, who had suffered several non-fatal stab wounds to his upper torso and extremities, according to a police news release.

An ambulance transported the victim to a hospital for treatment and surgery.

The suspect, a 25-year-old man from Muskegon, was arrested about a block away from the crime scene.
