Fire destroys Newaygo County mobile home

CROTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – Nobody was inside a Newaygo County mobile home when a fire destroyed it early Wednesday morning.

The fire sparked around 2:15 a.m. at the residence on E. 96th Street near Thornapple Avenue in Croton Township, southeast of Newaygo.

Numerous fire departments responded to the scene.

A cause of the fire is unknown.
