Blind pedestrian hit by car, hurt; dog killed

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — A blind pedestrian and  his guide dog were hit by a vehicle in Wyoming Wednesday night, police told 24 Hour News 8.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of South Division Avenue near 56th Street SW.

The pedestrian wearing dark clothing and his guide dog were headed south in the curb lane when the man was hit by a southbound vehicle, police said.

Osmon Koroma, 24, was in critical condition at a hospital Thursday.

His dog was killed in the crash.
