Multiple shots fired in GR; no one hurt

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Multiple shots were fired on Grand Rapids’ northwest side Thursday.

No one was actually struck when shots were fired on McReynolds Avenue NW in the area of Fifth Street, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

Witnesses told 24 Hour News 8 they heard as many as 20 shots.

Two people were arrested at the scene on unrelated charges, Grand Rapids police say. The two are not believed to have been involved in Thursday’s shooting.
