Police: Bicyclist still critical, need help finding offender

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) – Wyoming police still needs your help in finding the driver who put a bicyclist in the hospital Saturday morning after allegedly hitting the bicyclist with a vehicle, then fleeing the scene.

Around 7:22 a.m., police were called to the 600 block of 36th Street SW, between Clyde Park Avenue and U.S. 131. When they arrived, they determined a bicyclist was involved in a hit-and-run accident.

The victim, 52-year-old Joseph Errol Conigliaro, was taken to a Grand Rapids hospital. He remains in critical condition.

The suspect was traveling west, and police believe the vehicle has a partially damaged passenger-side mirror as a result of the collision.
