Wine and food come together for a good cause

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) We know food and wine taste great together and when done well, they not only compliment each other, but create a truly wonderful dining experience. But with thousands of choices available, it’s difficult knowing what to pair with what!

On Saturday, March 22, you can learn from some of the best — chefs and sommeliers from all over the country, coming together for a wonderful cause. The second annual CRUSH GRAND RAPIDS Wine and Food Classic will feature food and wine experts who will describe, advise, and recommend some of the year’s best wine choices.

The event is a fundraiser for the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. It will be held at Reserve Wine & Food on Monroe Avenue NW in Grand Rapids from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $250 each. Suggested attire is cocktail chic.
