JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A woman was found dead after a car crash in Jamestown Township Sunday morning.

Investigators were called to the 2200 block of Riley Street in Jamestown Township, near Zeeland, at around 12:30 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a 62-year-old woman dead inside of her car.

The woman’s car hit a tree, but because there was minimal damage to both the car and the tree, investigators said the woman may have suffered from a medical condition that caused her death, rather than the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

The woman’s name has not yet been released.
