Shooting victim arrives at hospital

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – Grand Rapids police told 24 Hour News 8 they are investigating a shooting incident after the victim arrived at a hospital.

The male victim was shot in a leg. He is being treated for the non-life-threatening injury at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital.

As police continue to investigate, the victim told police the shooting occurred near Montgomery Street and Jefferson Street SE.
