PARCHMENT, Mich. (WOOD) – An investigation regarding missing athletic funds at Parchment High School during the 2011-2012 school year has been closed.

The Parchment School District said it learned Tuesday from Kalamazoo Township police that it had completed and closed its investigation in the case over a month ago with no conclusion regarding the money.

The district said it lost approximately $20,000 in athletic event admissions during the school year in question.

The administration conducted a review and new procedures have been put into place to prevent future financial loss, the district said in a release.
