Charges after explosives found in home

NEWBERG TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — A 22-year-old man is being held after police in southwestern Michigan found marijuana, explosives and materials used to manufacture explosives during a drug investigation.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team says a bomb squad removed several explosives Wednesday from a Newberg Township home.

Authorities say the man was arrested at the scene. His name was not immediately released Thursday.

He faces arraignment on charges related to the making of explosives, manufacturing of the drug hash and marijuana possession.
